NDC aims to maintain a lasting legacy in the area of Radford and Hyson Green through what we call a 'community asset base development'. By this we mean acquiring buildings that we can not only improve and bring back into use, but also achieve financial sustainability for the benefit of the local community.
The Asset Development Team is working towards the creation of a £20m Asset Portfolio which includes the renovation and refurbishment of existing properties whether purchased or managed by NDC. The types of properties we have, or hope to include within our portfolio in the future, include:
Community resource facilities
Community health and recreation facilities
Enterprise and small business incubation space
Managed office and light industrial workspace
Conferencing and Training facilities
Retail and mixed use accommodation
Public Access buildings
