Then keep reading…… In September 2006, NDC launched the Neighbourhood Investment Fund (NIF) to support community groups and non-profit organisations whose projects benefit the NDC area and the people within it. The following funds are open for applications:
Project Fund – this is a maximum grant of £5,000 which can be applied for in order to fund a variety of different activities and equipment, provided they bring benefits to the local area. We are particularly interested in hearing from groups who are looking at their long term plans and how to sustain themselves.

Partnership Fund - we want to encourage groups to work in partnership with each other. Because of this we are allowing groups running a partnership project to make up to two successful applications a year. You do not have to ensure that both projects are partnership projects, but at least one of them must be.
